15 Promises to Those Who Recite the Rosary—#12

Posted on September 26th, 2011 at 7:00 pm

In the years 1214 and 1460, fifteen promises were revealed (to St. Dominic and Blessed Alanus de Rupe) by our Blessed Mother to those who devoutly pray the rosary...

Promise of the Rosary #12: All those who propagate the Holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.

If one promotes the praying of the Rosary, Our Lady emphasizes Her Maternal care by granting spiritual and material necessities.

Promise of the Rosary #11: You shall obtain all you ask of me by recitation of the Rosary.

Stressed? Anxious? Pray the Rosary every day. While all requests are subject to God's Most Perfect Will, through the perseverence of prayer, your requests will be granted through Our Lady's intercession.

Promise of the Rosary #10: The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of Glory in Heaven.

This promise is a logical consequence of promises #3 and #4, since the closer one is to God while living on earth, the close he or she is to Him also in Heaven. The Catechism of the Catholic Church states "Spiritual progress tends toward ever more union with Christ." (paragraph 2014).

In the years 1214 and 1460, fifteen promises were revealed (to St. Dominic and Blessed Alanus de Rupe) by our Blessed Mother to those who devoutly pray the rosary...

Promise of the Rosary #9: I will deliver promptly from purgatory souls devoted to my Rosary.

The most agonizing thing about purgatory is the fact that you know God, but cannot be with Him. This ninth promise from Our Blessed Mother assures that, through Her intercession as Advocate, those who devoutly pray Her Rosary will spend minimal time in Purgatory.

Come, Worship the King of Kings on October 8 at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington D.C., from 8 am to 2:30 pm with LIVE EWTN Coverage of the Global Living Rosary.
