In 2008, 25,000 people from all over the world came to Kansas City to pray the Global Living Rosary at Royals Stadium. Many were dressed in their native clothing, and prayed the first half of each Hail Mary in their native tongue. This great display of faith was all done in the context of Eucharistic Adoration: A beautiful monstrance containing the Blessed Sacrament was placed on an elevated altar over 2nd base. The thousands of worshipers were praying for peace: peace in our families, peace in our nation, and throughout the world. The only way we'll receive this peace is by adoring the Prince of Peace.

On October 8, 2011, thousands of parishioners from across Northern Virginia will be coming to the largest Catholic Church in America—Washington DC's Shrine of the Immaculate Conception—for a "Great Pilgrimage" day of prayer. It will include Eucharistic Adoration, the Global Living Rosary, and the pinnacle of all prayers, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Would you like to be a pilgrim for peace? Would you like to make a commitment to stand with God and for God in the National Shrine on October 8th through the Global Living Rosary?
